I had so much fun during this session with Kara and Martin! Seriously, they could not be more kind. We had the best time planning their photo shoot, and you can just feel how excited they are to meet their little one. They decided to keep baby’s gender a surprise, which makes the whole adventure even more fun! Nature surprised us and it decided to snow the day before our session (it was really cold outside!). But as a professional Denver maternity photographer I have to be pretty flexible. So we did half of the photos indoors as more of a ‘lifestyle’ session and then snuck outside to take some pictures outdoors as quickly as possible.

Just look how cute these navy and mint colors are in their nursery! Kara is a master when it comes to finding adorable baby swag. I know who I’m consulting when it’s my turn!

Their puppy Oscar was the first baby in their home, so we had to include him in the pictures!

Pregnancy is just so beautiful. I loved how perfectly round Kara’s belly was!

I’m so glad they were willing to bear the cold with me! Getting out into nature during the sunset really created some beautiful images!

I’m absolutely in love with the cranberry maxi dress she chose for her maternity photo session. It worked out perfectly for this winter scene!
